Yes, it is that time of year, and it seems to be coming around faster than ever. I have been asked to share the following information:

Here are the details for this year’s fabulous Hawkshaw Methodist Church Christmas Tree Festival, being held from the 5th until the 7th of December. Please see the poster for details of the event.

Why not be a part of this event yourself? If you live in Hawkshaw you can enter your own tree in the festival using the application form attached.

The closing date to confirm you are taking part is this Thursday, 6th November.

Talk: 20 Years of Holcombe Moor Heritage Group

Dear Friends of Holcombe Moor Heritage Group

Find out more about the history of Holcombe Moor Heritage Group’s activities in our 20th anniversary year.  

The talk is by Neil Coldrick on Wednesday 29th October at 7.30 pm in Greenmount Cricket Club, BL8 4DX.

The entry fee of £3 includes tea, coffee and biscuits.  The bar will be open and there will be a raffle.
