Blossail* – Hollymount Orchard

*what is a Blossail??

Good question! It’s an entirely fictional celebration of the apple blossom time. Think a wassail, but (hopefully) with better weather. Prof’ Jigget will be leading an exploration of the orchard similar to previous events (Wassail/ The Orchard Odyssey). It will primarily be for a family audience, but as always – all welcome. We’re hoping to include craft activities to tie in with the Blossail ceremony, a refreshment area at the top of the orchard, and the ceremony will also tie neatly into the biodiversity project which the Orchard Project have been funding. In a nutshell it will be a load of kid-fun nonsense in our glorious little orchard!
