Dear All,

Greenmount Village Community are holding a ‘Village Tidy Up’ on Saturday 20^th April from 10am till 12 noon.

We are hoping to get some help to spruce up the village ready for the party on the 6^th May.

If you can spare the time to help, please meet at the back of Greenmount Old School just before 10am and jobs will be distributed. These will involve –

• Litter Picking around the village green, playground, old school, etc.

• Weeding around the old school, Greenmount bench, stone wall outside doctors, Holcombe Road outside shops, etc.

• Dismantling of picnic bench on playground.

• Trimming of willow arch at the playground.

• Sweeping of the hopscotch area and general tidy up around the green.

• Putting up banners to advertise village party.

Dear All,

Please see attached a list of events to be held at various venues in our neighbourhood. The Fashion Show on Monday 22^nd April and Car Boot Sale on Saturday 11^th May at the Emmanual Church Centre, Longsight Road.

Also included is a reminder about the Folk Night at Greenmount Old School this coming Saturday 20^th April at 7.30pm with our very own Greenmount Strummers. Spring Show on Saturday April 13th, held at Greenmount Old School.

Staging of exhibits 8.30 to 12 noon followed by judging.

Open to public at 2.15 pm Prize giving at approximately 4.15 pm by Trevor Holt

Cafe,tombola, raffle , display of plans for Whitehead Gardens, Tottington.

Everyone welcome
