Woodland Management
Hi Folks,
In discussion with Paul Robinson, we are proposing that the last Woodland Management event of the year will be on Friday 9th December.
We will be clearing the leaves and other debris off the Lines from Brandlesholme Road down towards the Island Lodge Viaduct. If it is raining, please still come along as most of the work is under dense cover of vegetation and in the past, we have not got too wet.
If you wish to join us, please meet at Station Road entrance at 10am on Friday 9th December. Directions are attached.
Hopefully we will finish in time to enjoy a celebratory coffee from the Hub Café.
All the best,
Alistair

For the last two years Greenmount has lit Advent windows and it is planned to do this again with even more people joining in.
The switch on will be on the 1st December.
Please think of joining us. When you have decided on your design, please let Neil know by email [email protected] It is hoped to have a map showing where the windows are.

Please be aware that the Bury Running Festival takes place on the morning of Sunday 20th November. This year the route has moved from south of the town centre to the north, on roads through Elton, Walshaw, Tottington and Greenmount and the Kirklees Trail (The Lines).
Thousands of pounds are raised for good causes, and we are delighted that Greenmount is firmly on the sporting map as Bury shows itself off to hundreds of visitors on the day of the festival.
