Be Active in Bury North Exhibition – THIS WEEKEND

Dear All,

Just a reminder about the ‘Be Active in Bury North’ exhibition taking place at Greenmount Old School this weekend, 25th/26th June, 2022.

Please see attached a leaflet giving the full details about the exhibition and the guided walks which have been arranged.

Also attached are two documents, one showing a list of all the groups exhibiting, and one giving information about the activity groups and what is on offer.

Hopefully, you will find something of interest to you. Come along and take the opportunity to have a chat to someone and find out more.

Please spread the word and we can all encourage more people to get involved after a long period away from regular activities.

There is a display in Greenmount Church on the History of Greenmount, as well as performances from a couple of the groups.

The Old School Café will be open offering toasted teacakes, crumpets, and refreshments all at reasonable prices.

Hope you can make it.

Best wishes,

Julie Southworth

Woodland Management

Hi Everyone,

The next Greenmount Woodland Management will be on Friday 1st July at 10am. A slight departure being the 1st Friday of the month and not the last Friday, but only just after it.

As it happens there are 5 Fridays in July so we will be meeting again on Friday 29th July also.

Currently we are not sure what the tasks will be, I will update you with a place and activity nearer the time.

See you soon,

Alistair

D-CaFF celebrate!!

Dear All,

Just to remind you that D-CaFF were awarded the Queen’s Award back in March 2020. Due to the Pandemic, they were unable to celebrate this prestigious award. However, Joani Beale and Laura Roberts did get to visit Buckingham Palace a couple of weeks ago to receive their award and would like to share this with you.

Regards,

Julie Southworth
