Winter Guided Walks
Ramsbottom Pantry at Christ Church
Dear All,
As a community organisation, we strive to help residents as much as we can. John and I have recently been meeting with other groups across North Bury with a view to working together to ensure the health and wellbeing of our communities. This may be in the form of helping to publish events or activities which are taking place to enrich the lives of our residents.
As you are aware we often put out information regarding our local foodbanks, Porch Boxes and Brandlesholme Community Centre. We also wish to make you aware of the Ramsbottom Pantry who are based at Christ Church and Neighbourhood Centre, Great Eaves Road, Ramsbottom BL0 0PX.
Below is an overview of their activities:
- The Pantry is always in need of donations of food and other items. If you know of any groups that might be interested in collecting, let me know and I’ll provide details.
- If anyone doesn’t have enough money to buy food from a supermarket, we can help them.
- If anyone is feeling a bit isolated and lonely and would like a coffee, cake and a chat then encourage them to come to the cafe in church, open from 10:00am to 12:00 each Thursday morning, where they’ll receive a warm welcome.
Best Wishes
